Seminar Title: “Generating Genomic Resources to Study Phytophthora cinnamomi"
Biography: Aidan is a 3nd year PhD student in Dr. Patricia Manosalva’s lab. His research is focused on generating genomic resources for the plant pathogen Phytophthora cinnamomi and investigating the genetic diversity of P. cinnamomi in avocado growing regions of California and Mexico.

Nathan Riley, PLPA Graduate Student
Seminar Title: “Phytophthora Brown Rot of Citrus: Reference Genome Assembly”
Biography: Nathan is a 3rd year Phd student in Dr. Jim Adaskaveg's lab. His research is focused on the Phytophthora species responsible for brown rot of citrus, and the application of population genomics in order to study migration and host specialization.
