Congratulations are in order to Dr. Alex Putman, who is a Co-PI on a $10M grant from the United Stated Department of Agriculture focused on developing artificial intelligence for sustainable agriculture!

Dr. Putman will be co-mentoring a postdoc and implementing use of a drone/camera system. He will also be supervising numerous undergraduate summer interns who will be working with him on this project.
