Nichole Ginnan Receives Prestigious UC Presidents Dissertation-Year Fellowship

Riverside, Ca –

 Nichole Ginnan, a Plant Pathology graduate student in the Caroline Roper lab, has been chosen for the prestigious University of California’s President’s Dissertation-Year Fellowship for the 2019/2020 academic year! This fellowship includes three quarters of stipend plus payment of all fees, a $500 research allowance, and a $470 travel allowance. Nichole and Dr. Roper will attend the annual Fall meeting of the Dissertation-Year and Presidents’ Postdoctoral Fellows and Nichole will make two research presentations; one in our department and one at a UC, Cal State University campus or private institution.
