The Department of Microbiology and Plant Pathology's weekly Plant Pathology 250 seminar series is presented this week by:

Rebecca Crust, Plant Pathology Graduate Student, UC Riverside 

Seminar Title: "Evaluation of California agronomic soil and its rhizobia symbionts on cowpea"

Biography: Rebecca Crust is a third year PhD student studying the symbiosis between soil rhizobia and cowpea (Vigna unguiculata). Their research focuses on identifying and evaluating efficient rhizobia strains in agronomic soils to better support growers of legume crops in California.
