The Department of Microbiology and Plant Pathology's weekly Plant Pathology 250 seminar series is presented this week by:

Stacey Comstock, Plant Pathology Graduate Student, UC Riverside. 

Seminar Title: “Light manipulation with next-generation indoor farming induces severe viral symptom expression of citrus indicators used in quarantine diagnostics”

Biography: Stacey is a 4th year PhD candidate in Dr. Georgios Vidalakis’ lab. Stacey received a BS in biotechnology from Cal State San Marcos. She is currently studying viral symptomatology in hydroponically grown citrus, with an emphasis on the optimization of disease symptom expression for quarantine diagnostics at the Citrus Clonal Protection Program.
