The Department of Microbiology and Plant Pathology's weekly Plant Pathology 250 seminar series is presented this week by:

Albert Nguyen, PLPA Graduate Student 

Seminar Title: "Challenges in postharvest decay management of citrus in California."

Biography: Albert Nguyen is a 2nd year graduate student in Dr. Jim Adaskaveg's lab. His research focuses on citrus postharvest decay management with chemical and fungicide applications.

Chaydon O'Fallon, PLPA Graduate Student 

Seminar Title: "Management of Phytophthora root and crown rot in sweet cherries and evaluation of new Oomycota fungicides"

Biography: Chaydon O’Fallon is a 2nd year PhD student in Dr. Adaskaveg’s lab. His work focuses on the management of root and crown rot on cherries caused by Phytophthora species through cultural and chemical practices.
