Gabriel Santiago Ortiz, PLPA Graduate Student
Seminar Title: "Effects of nitrogen sources on the mutualism between Lotus japonicus and Mezorhizobium loti"
Biography: Gabriel is a 4th year PhD candidate at Joel Sachs lab. He is currently studying how plant domestication and agricultural practices affect legume symbiosis with rhizobia.

Nathan Riley, PLPA Graduate Student
Seminar Title: "A review of economically important oomycete pathogens of North America"
Biography: Nathan is a 4th year Phd student in Dr. Jim Adaskaveg's lab. His research is focused on the Phytophthora species responsible for brown rot of citrus, and the application of population genomics in order to study migration and host specialization."
