Seminar Title: “Post-fire Succession of Fungal Communities in California chaparral"
Biography: I received my B.S in Environmental Science from Fresno State and my Master's in Fire Ecology from the University of Washington. I am currently in the Glassman Lab, where I am focusing my research on fungal and bacterial succession, resistance and resilience in disturbed ecosystems.

Lindsey Pedroncelli, PLPA Graduate Student
Seminar Title: “Infection Process of Macrophomina phaseolina and Influence of Water Stress on Disease Development on Strawberry”
Biography: Lindsey is a 3rd year PhD Student in Dr. Alex Putman's lab. She studies the role of irrigation in the development and management of Macrophomina Charcoal Rot on strawberries, as well as the infection process of M. phaseolina on strawberry plants. When she's not in the lab or field, she is working with the UCR Science to Policy Program to bridge the gap between scientists and policymakers.
