Our department is the administrative home for the graduate programs in Microbiology and Plant Pathology. The Plant Pathology program has been training students for over 80 years for careers in plant disease management, research, and teaching. Graduate students interested in microbiology research can seek a degree through the Microbiology program.  Many faculty in the department are also members of biological sciences interdepartmental graduate programs. For more information on admissions and applications, see the individual program pages.
